Fire Rated Wooden Doors 

In 2002, IDEAL mineral core fire rated doors- developed through in-house R&D- were perhaps the first of their kind to appear in the UAE market with international test certification from Chiltern International Fire Lab (UK, now known as Exova Warrington) where these doors were successfully tested to BS 476 Part 22 of 1987. Subsequently, IDEAL doors were approved by various Civil Defense Authorities for 60, 90 & 120 minutes fire rating based on individual test evidence and later on, these approvals were obtained from authorities of neighboring G.C.C states as well. Today, IDEAL mineral cores have both Q-Mark certification from BM TRADA and the company is ISO 9001:2015 certified. IDEAL also has in its product range a mineral core fire rated glazing system to complement its fire doors. This perhaps is the only locally developed non-metallic system for high-end fire rating, which was successfully tested at Exova Warrington (UK) and has its own certification.
